About the Arizona Chapter of ACOFP
The Arizona Society of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (AzACOFP) is a network of Arizona Osteopathic Family Physicians dedicated to providing expert advice and service.
AzACOFP actively represents the rights and interests of Osteopathic Family Physicians and helps preserve the freedom to provide the best care to their patients.
The AzACOFP works with its members to provide all of the resources possible to receive the latest information on practical and technical advances in osteopathic family medical practice, continuing medical education to provide for continued learning opportunities, and a wide variety of specific member services designed to help AzACOFP members and their pAs osteopathic family physicians, our members have chosen to specialize in family practice and osteopathic manipulative treatment.
An osteopathic family physician treats you, the whole person, not just a disease or its symptoms. They provide disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment strategies to your and your entire family from infancy throughout your entire life. Because this focus promotes an appreciation for the interrelationship between body, mind and spirit, they can provide you with the most holistic and comprehensive family medical care available.
Their appreciation of this interconnected relationship allows osteopathic family physicians the unique ability to diagnose and effectively treat conditions that sometimes elude non-osteopathic medical professionals.
As members of the Arizona Society of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, our mission is to promote osteopathic family care in Arizona through education and service to the public and profession, and to enhance osteopathic identity and distinctiveness. In support of this, we are committed to:
✓ Provide leadership and service to members, the public, and related organizations
